Who are we?
- A committee reporting to the Grand Master
To provide the essential training and resources for those planning to be a lodge officer
The LOTP is part of Grand Lodge Strategic Plan
Improved Lodge Leadership
Lodge members look to their leaders for direction and motivation. Leaders must be well skilled in the duties of their office as well as leadership skills like planning, organizing, delegating and managing.
Goal: All Worshipful Masters shall have completed Senior Deacon, Junior Warden and Senior Warden Leadership Training Programs during their progression to the East.
There will be dedicated workshops at each Training Session for:
· Training officers
· Training the Deacons to become the Junior Warden
· Training the Junior Warden for his year as Senior Warden in preparation for his year as Worshipful Master
· PowerPoint presentations have been developed for each of these training sessions and are included on a USB memory stick along with various resources
The LOTP also includes additional presentations (offered in rotation so not all will be presented at every course)
· Membership Development
· Lodge Leadership
· Masonic education
· Masonic Activities
· Public Awareness
· Charity and public projects
· Parliamentary rules
