Masonic Toastmasters Club
The Masonic Toastmasters Club will meet on the first and third Thursday of the month at the Al Azhar Shrine Centre beginning at 7:00pm. Toastmasters is a non-profit organization where people form clubs to learn how to write and present a speech, organize a meeting, act as a chairman, think and speak in an impromptu situation, to name a few. These skills are useful to all Masons.

 Masonic Art Exchange
Commencing about 10:00am on Saturday 20th February 2010, the Internet Lodge of Research will be hosting a talk by Bro. David Naughton-Shires on the Masonic Art Exchange Project of which he is the driving force. In 2008, Senior Grand Lodge Officers developed a Strategic Plan for the Grand Lodge of Alberta. The Plan is intended to guide continuous improvement of Lodges and, thereby, strengthen the Craft in the jurisdiction. The Strategic Plan was approved at the June 2009 Annual Communication.
The first steps in implementing the Strategic Plan have been taken by the Grand Master with his "Strengthening our Foundation" initiatives.
