Research Lodges do not form part of any District and are under the Deputy Grand Master. There are two Research Lodges in Alberta, each with its own unique mandate. Full membership in a research Lodge is restricted to members of a regular Lodge in the jurisdiction while both Lodges offer subscribing memberships to members outside of the jurisdiction.
